FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Prompt Runner.

What exactly does Prompt Runner automate for me?
Prompt Runner takes your prepared list of prompts and sends them to Midjourney through Discord one by one, including any suffixes, info commands, and refresh clicks you'd normally do by hand. You still choose what to generate — the tool just handles the repetitive clicking and waiting.
How does Prompt Runner work?
It runs quietly on your desktop and reads prompts from a plain text file. From there it sends each one to your Midjourney server in Discord, waits out the cooldown, and moves to the next — all with randomized timing so the pattern feels natural rather than mechanical.
What do I need to use Prompt Runner?
Just a Windows desktop, a Discord account with access to a Midjourney-enabled server, and an active Midjourney subscription. You bring your prompts — Prompt Runner takes care of running them.
Can I pause the workflow while it is running?
Yes. Press F8 at any time to pause or resume the session instantly. Prompt Runner also remembers exactly where it left off, so you can pause between prompts and pick the queue back up whenever you're ready.
What happens if an error is detected?
The built-in error protection (currently in BETA) watches for failed sends or unexpected responses and automatically pauses the workflow rather than letting prompts pile up and fire off too quickly. You get a heads-up so you can check what happened before resuming.
